About Me

About Me

Picture
I am a New Orleans native who majored in biology at Grinnell College in Iowa and now live in Michigan getting a PhD at Michigan State University.  Before coming to MSU I studied climate change in northern Alaska, taught environmental science at home in New Orleans, and spent almost two years doing and teaching science in southern Africa.

I am an avid outdoorsman and try to get camping, hiking, or canoeing whenever I'm not hunting down ingredients to cook Louisiana cuisine in Michigan!
